As for the Laserbase MF series “MF5650�, “MF5630� and “MF3110� it has been found that one of the following symptoms occurs.

  • The machine fails to start reading a document.
  • The machine starts reading a document, but fails to pick up a document set in the ADF.
  • When printing multiple pages, the machine stops operation in the middle of a page.

    *For a model with a FAX function, even when data received by FAX and those sent from a PC fail to be printed after one of these symptoms occurs, you can print the data by performing the “Temporary Workaround� explained below.

    As a solution, we would therefore like you to upgrade your firmware to a revised one, which is indicated in “Countermeasures� explained below, or perform the “Temporary Workaround� to handle this symptom.
